year passed, year ahead.

I watched the movie Yes Man about a month ago. And I must say that I enjoyed it so much. It was super hilarious ok ? Carrey did pull it well. Anyway,apart from laughing the hell out of myself, I realised that there is some truth hidden behind the story, from my opinion at least. About taking chances, doing different things, learning new stuffs and expanding your circle of friends. So, my new year resolutions will be, uhmm. Lets see? Oh, saying yes to all possible invitations and start learning new things. Finding a replacement for old boyfriend :P. Spend lesser money on shopping(which I think have failed). And start planning my life for the next 5-10 years maybe. We need plans don't we ?

So, I have started my 2009 year by hanging out with some friends that I thought I would never hang out with. Probably back then I was less courageous or perhaps ignorant. But, I realised that by taking chances, I get to meet fun, cool new friends. I realised now, though it might be too late already or maybe not, that by just flashing a smile, it could change a lot. So, I guess I might start to grin and smile all the way down to my class. Oh, and friends! They are always by my side. I'm grateful for that. It feels good that after a year and a half in Uni, I have known quite some people there.

My current classmates? I must say that they are pretty much the same as before. But, as much as they do get on my nerves sometimes, I think I love them all. It is hard to imagine that soon we all will be graduated and start leading our own lives. There is one boy in my class, Sam. He NEVER spoke to me before. And it is glad to know that he speaks to me now. It was quite surprising at first, but, well, it is something great. At least I have all of them speaking to me already.

Summing all up, I have started my brand new year with a whole new diary and hoping that it will be a good year ahead. And I began my year with some changes,which so far I am quite comfortable with. Lets just hope that 2009 will be a good, blessed year for me and everyone around me. And allow the memories of every year that has passed to be locked away safely, with bad memories to teach us more about life, and let the good ones be remembered and cherished forever :D
